8th Graduation Day of RRMCH

It’s glad to announce that the 8th Graduation Day of RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital has been organized on 25th June 2018, Monday at 4:00 p. m. All the UG, PG, Super Specialty and Interns are cordially invited and make the function a Grand Success.

8th Graduation Day – RRMCH

As awaited every year Rajarajeshwari Medical College and Hospital celebrated its 8th Graduation Day on 25th June, 2018, Monday at 4 pm.

Hon’ble Chairman, ISRO, Dr.Sivan was the Chief Guest and the function was preside by the Hon’ble Chairman, RRMCH, Dr.A.C. Shanmugam.

While welcoming the Guests, Dean Dr. Sathyamurthy communicated the giant strides the Institution has taken over a very short time. The Dean then informed the gathering concerning the prestigious Unique, honorary doctorate conferred on our beloved Chairman for his outstanding contribution to Education and Health care delivery. He is only the send non-medical person to have received this honour. While giving his presidential speech, the chairman Dr. A.C.Shanmugam underlined the importance of quality in imparting medical education and health care services. He expressed his concern about the shortage of doctors in the rural areas and called upon the Graduates to serve at least for some time in the rural areas.

The Chirman, Dr. A.C. S;hanmugam also spoke about a new initiative which has been taken up by the management inviting Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow UK to conduct examinations in our college to get MRCP and MRCS for our PG students and also the faculties.

During his convocation speech, Dr. Sivan asked the doctors not to be greedy and asked the graduants to develop service mindedness.

CEO, RRGI – Mr. Seetharam, Principal – Dr. S. Naveen, Director, PG Studies – Dr. Usha, Medical Superintendent – Dr. Govindaraju and last but not the least Adviosr, RRGI – Prof Vasagam were present on the Occasion. Medical Director – Dr. D.L. Ramachandra proposed Vote of Thanks.

In total, 125 UG Graduants, 75 PG Graduants and 3 Super Specialty Graduants totaling to 203 students received the Graduation day honours. It wa truly a memorable day for both the students and their parents. The Institution feels proud to announce that the college has had 8 University toppers overall. This is really a remarkable achievement and Kudos to the Faculties and the students.
