CME on ‘PULMONARY UPDATE’

The Department of TB & CD has organised a CME on ‘PULMONARY UPDATE’.

ALL Teaching Staff , Non teaching Staff , Inters, PG’s, UG’s are cordially invited.

Pulmonary Medicine is an upcoming branch of internal medicine which deals with disease of Respiratory System concerned with oxygen delivery to tissue and removal of Co2 from the body.

As it is an expanding branch of medicine with sub specialities like interventional Pulmonology, sleep medicine and critical come medicine along with Tuberculosis and Drug Resistance.

In order to keep a fresh of the advances is Pulmonary Medicine we, Department of Pulmonary Medicine, RRMCH conducted one day CME, on “Pulmonary updates 2018” on 02/02/2018 to cover the recent advances in disease like “Drug Resistant” – TB- TOG , Asthma COPD and ILD were discussed in the morning session.

In the afternoon session ultrasound in pulmonary diseases, central airway obstruction management and Medical Thoracoscopy in pleural effusion are discussed.

Around 150 delegates had attended the CME and had good scientific discussion and interactions with delegates and speakers.
