Department of Pathology, RRMCH have organised a 6th Annual State Level Inter Collegiate Pathology Post graduate Quiz. (KCIAPM Post grauate Quiz [KPPL – 2017]

All are invited to take part in the quiz.
The 6th Annual State level Intercollegiate Pathology Postgraduate Quiz competition [KPPL – 2017] was held at Kadamba auditorium, RRMCH, Bangalore on 20th January 2017. The event was organized by RRMCH, Bangalore in collaboration with Karnataka Chapter – IAPM under the guidance of Chairperson Dr.Usha Ramachandra by the organizing secretary – Dr.Sharmila.P.S, joint organizing secretary – Dr.Vamseedhar Annam, Treasurer – Dr.Jyothi.A.Raj and supported by the committee members Dr.V.Mahanthachar, Dr.C.J.Prakash, Dr.Shashikala.K, Dr.Nalini.M, Dr.Shushan Shweta Jayker, Dr.Sumitha.M.P, Dr.Anisha.T.S and Dr.Latha.V. A total of around 35 teams from more than 25 postgraduate medical colleges all over Karnataka participated in this event. The event was inaugurated by the Honorable chairman Sri.A.C.Shanmugam, RRGI and Director of PG Academics Dr.Usha Ramachandra in the presence of Medical Director Dr.D.L.Ramachandra, Dean Dr.H.V.Shetty and Medical Superintendent Dr.Govinda Raju.K.M. Among the 35 teams, 5 teams entered the final round after elimination round. There was a tough competitive elimination round for the sixth team position due to tie between 4 teams [TIE was between SSIMS Davangere, BIMS Belgaum, Commando Hospital Bangalore and Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology Bangalore]. In the final round, all the six teams [from JJMMC Davangere, BMCRI Bangalore, SDUMC Kolar, ESI-PGIMSR Bangalore, JSS Mysore, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology Bangalore] gave tough fight in the competition. The organizing team landed into difficulty when there was tie for the first place between BMCRI team and ESI-PGIMSR, Bangalore team. Later a Special Rapid fire round decided the winner as BMCRI Team and ESI-PGIMSR, Bangalore team as 1st runner. The second runner went to Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore.
