A comprehensive
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and
BLS (Basic Life Support) training workshop was conducted at Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital (RRMCH) from
20th May 2025 to 24th May 2025, in collaboration with EIIEMS, Kottayam.

Department of Emergency Medicine, RRMCH & Quality Cell, RRMCH in Association With IIEMS, Kottayam The event was inaugurated 20th May 2025 by Dr. Basavaraj Bandare, Principal, Dr. Sathyamurthy.B – Dean, Dr. Praveen Kumar – Medical Superintendent , Dr. Ambareesha . M – HOD Emergency Medicine, and Dr. Sahajananda. H – NABH Coordinator of RRMCH.
There were 90 participants including few of the Faculty members of our institution.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from postgraduate students and hospital staff.
Training Details:
The sessions were led by
AHA-certified instructors from various locations of Karnataka, & Kerala, who provided hands-on training and theoretical insights as per the latest
American Heart Association (AHA) protocols for ACLS and BLS.
Each session concluded with both a
theory and practical examination, and successful participants will receive
certificates online.
Mementos as token of appreciation were distributed to all the instructors in recognition of their valuable contribution.
The workshop was a significant step towards enhancing emergency response capabilities and resuscitation skills among healthcare professionals, aligning with global standards in emergency care.

The
Department of Paediatrics at
RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital (RRMCH) successfully conducted an
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) on
20th July 2025 at the
state-of-the-art Skill Lab.
This certified training program was conducted under the guidelines of the
National Neonatal Resuscitation Program, backed by the
Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP). A total of
34 delegates from various medical institutions participated, gaining hands-on experience in essential neonatal resuscitation techniques.
The sessions were led by
Dr. Umamaheswari (Lead Instructor) along with a dedicated team of faculty:
Dr. Chandrakala, Dr. Marthandappa, Dr. Shashikala, and Dr. Sahana. Dr Venkateshmurthy served as the course coordinator.
The event was inaugurated by
Dr. Rajanish, Professor & Head of the Department of Pediatrics, RRMCH.
This initiative is a testament to RRMCH’s commitment to improving neonatal healthcare outcomes through continuous professional training, evidence-based practices, and skill development.

RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital celebrated this harvest festival with such a great significance and insistence at the College Lobby.
All the student and staff gave great performances with a bright attire and expression. Traditional puja was also performed and Prasad was distributed to all present in the celebration.

AESTHETIC DERMATOLOGY UPDATE 2024, State level live demo workshop from basics to advanced treatments was conducted by Department of Dermatology, RRMCH in association with Bangalore Dermatology Society on 15/12/2024, led by
