Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital observed the “International Nurses Day” on 13th May 2022 at Kadamba Hall (College Auditorium).

The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by all the dignitaries, and then proceeded with a welcome speech. The speech included ‘the thanks’ to the nurses and ‘the recognition of their noble contribution’ also. Senior Nurses were felicitated for their long services. There were Cultural performance by all the staff and program came to an ended with a vote of thanks and a official lunch to all the participants.
The Mortality meet was conducted at RRMCH on 6th May, 2022 . This was a regular internal audit which has been conducted by the RRMCH team, which include Mortality Audit for the better assessment of the various departments of the hospital and to improve the treatment for the patients.

On the occasion of founders’ day, RRMCH – Blood Centre had organized voluntary blood donation camp on 28th September in RRMCH campus .
They had invited blood center teams from Victoria Hospital and C V Raman General Hospital for the blood donation camp . Total 87 units were collected . Where the individual contributions were as mentioned below: – RRMCH Blood Centre collected -35 Units – Victoria Hospital blood Centre -31 Units – C V Raman General hospital – 21 Units

A 58-year-old lady with severe Sino Nasal Mucormycosis infection was admitted to the hospital on June 3rd, 2021. Our Doctors team Dr. Rajendra Dinesh Kumar (ENT-HNS), Dr. Mamatha N S ( RRDCH, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery), from surgical team Dr. Arjun, Dr Manoj, Dr Keerthi, Dr. Srikar, Dr. Sanjeev, from Anesthesia team Dr.Balakrishna N, Dr. Swathi, Dr. Priyanka D and from Pulmonologist team Dr. Vivek have contributed their great effort in making this operation successful. The patient was cured completely and discharged on June 18th, 2021.

The day is observed to raise awareness about a consumer’s rights and needs to enable the consumer to fight against social injustices. The World Consumer Rights Day 2021 theme is to gather all the consumers in a fight to “Tackle Plastic Pollution”.
