‘World Patient Safety Day’ is observed annually on September 17th to raise awareness and promote global solidarity for patient safety in healthcare systems. This year’s theme, “Improving Diagnosis for patient safety” and the slogan, “Get it Right, Make it safe,” call for action to enhance diagnostic processes and improve outcomes for patients worldwide. RRMCH organized a Patient Safety Day program to recognize Patient Safety Day and enhance patient safety practices in healthcare. The program included various talks on patient safety, role plays, and poster presentations from both clinical and non-clinical departments. The program was chaired by Dr. Sathyamurthy B., Dean, and Dr. Praveen Kumar, Medical Superintendent. It was organized by the Safety Committee. The event was attended by faculty, postgraduates, interns, nurses, paramedics, administrators, and supportive staff.
