World Anesthesia Day – 2023

World anaesthesia day is celebrated every year on 16th october. This marks the successful demonstration of ether as an anaesthetic by W.T.G Morton on this date. The theme of this year’s World Anaesthesia day was “Anaesthesia and Cancer Care” – highlighting the critical role of Anaesthesia in cancer care and improve outcome for cancer patients.
