World Health Day – 2024

Date: 6th April 2024 World Health Day 2024 on 7th April 2024 was celebrated at RRMCH campus on 6th April 2024. This year’s theme was: “My Health, My Right”. The Department of Community medicine, RRMCH under the guidance of Dr Shashikala M, Professor & HOD, organised a signature campaign with the pledge.
‘I will maintain my Physical and Mental health by

1. I will follow Personal and environmental hygiene
2. I will maintain Balanced Diet
3. I will do Regular Health checkups
4. I will know the Government and Private health services& utilise it
5. I will enrol for Health Insurance
6. I will do regular Physical Exercise
7. I will practice Meditation and Yoga
8. I will maintain faith in god for mind stability
9. I will maintain minimalist attitude & try to have a simple life style
10. I will maintain cordial relationship with everyone avoiding attachment and hatredness,
11. I will try to have financial discipline
12. I will have Gratitude for those who help me’.

Dr Satyamurthy, Dean, Dr Praveen, Medical Superintendent,Dr.Basavaraj Bandari, Vice Principle, Dr Shashikala M, Professor & HOD, Department of Community Medicine,Dr.Praveen,Neurosurgeon ,faculty,post graduates,UG students and general public was participated in the program, The program concluded successfully.
