Children’s day celebration 2016

Department of Pediatrics celebrated Children’s day on 15.11.16 in the department under the guidance of Dr. Adarsh, Prof and HOD, Department of pediatrics RRMCH.

The chief guests of the programme were Dr. H.V. Shetty -Dean, Dr. Govindaraju – Medical Superintendent.

Combined with in-patients and out-patient children, we had also called the children from Balya Ashram and Samrakshana Anatha Ashram. Around 200 children had participated for the celebration of Children’s Day.

The programme was started by a welcome song sung by kids from Balya Ashram, Dr. Adarsh Prof and HOD – Department of Pediatrics, RRMCH, gave a warm welcome to the guests and the Ashram kids. The progammes included Cake cutting for the children’s day, followed with a skit and dance performance by the kids and magic show from Jadhugar Jaganath which was arranged by RRMCH. Sports also was organized for children like lemon and spoon, ball in the bucket, Musical chair and many more.

Dr. Adarsh concluded the programme with a vote of thanks for making the Children’s Day a grand success.
